third time's the charm (in one day)

    i'm definitely not doing my short stories final presentation on boy meets world, that would be crazy, right??? just kidding, i totally am. today was tisha's 20th birthday (and my dog's 12th). i was rushing out the door this morning because my uber was kind of early so i forgot her present at home... i'm bringing it tomorrow. plus, my brother loved the dvd set i got him yesterday. so that's nice :)

    also, i totally forgot to talk about culture fest!!! we made paper lanterns and they were mostly terrible. sahtrese made a good one but accidentally stapled the wrong side. eventually we figured it out, though! mine fell apart. the base i made for the bottom went awry at first and we ended up with shrek, instead. i drew his face on with concealer and taped him to a cotton candy stick (see below). alisha gave us a ton of water bottles because they didn't want us to pass out (per their words, they would cry). evan, dylan, and james brought them to the chronicle office and now we have water in the fridge! my mom also bought us candy for the table and they brought up the leftovers too. leanna had to leave early but she ended up helping out at the friendship bracelet table as well (where james made a silly bracelet LOL). we broke a ton of mini staplers and evan misheard me when i asked what would happen if we put a grain of rice in there. he thought i said bryce, which i didn't, and i don't think he knows bryce so i just said "yeah, bryce hall" which in retrospect is a hilarious concept: putting tiktokers in staplers.

    i proposed the idea of an adult playground at miller lawn, which seemed to be a hit. cailin's boyfriend (don't know his name) said it would be cool, too. i want to write an official proposal for a swingset or two, maybe at the beginning of the summer. if that sounds interesting to you absolutely let me know, we could be swinging by senior year!!!
